Ethan's father, Matt Holliday, also attended Stillwater High School and was also named the state's Gatorade Player of the Year... won a World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011, was named the NLCS MVP in 2007 with Colorado and led the National League in batting and RBIs in 2007... Holliday was an All-Star from 2006-08, 2010-12 and again in 2015... played for the Rockies, Athletics, Cardinals and Yankees before returning to Colorado in 2018 for his final season... finished his Major League career as a .299 hitter with 2,096 hits, 316 home runs and 1,220 RBIs... won four Silver Slugger Awards and was inducted into the St. Louis Cardinals' Hall of Fame...
