Gulliver Prep also produced former Major League reliever Paco Rodríguez, who pitched for the Dodgers from 2012-15... Lombard's father, George Lombard, played high school baseball in the Atlanta area and was selected by his hometown team, the Atlanta Braves, in the second round of the 1994 MLB Draft and went on to play parts of six big league seasons in a 16-year professional career; he is currently (2023) the bench coach for the Detroit Tigers...
