His older brother, Peyton, was a four-year starting goalie for Penn State Ice Hockey and left as the school’s all-time leader in games played/started (133), victories (76) and saves (3,685)...currently plays for the Nottingham Panthers... previously played for the Colorado Eagles, the Colorado Avalanche’s AHL club.

Spent entire year at AAA Columbus...Season got better as it went along until an ankle injury on August 29 at Memphis ended his season...Got off to a 3-for-36 (.083) start over the first 10 games, hit .189 (14-for-74, 22 games, 6 XBH, 6 RBI) and was hitting as low as .172 (16-for-93) on June 6...Over his last 28 games, July 29-Aug. 29, he batted .282 (29-for-103) with 5 2B, 4 HR, 15 RBI and 24 runs (.385/.447/.832)...Suffered season-ending left ankle sprain sliding into second base, Aug. 29...Underwent surgery on Sept. 21 (Dr. Martin O'Malley, NYC) to stabilize the sprain (return to play expected at 5 to 6 months)…At the time of the injury he was leading the Triple-A East in walks (59), third in doubles (25), tied for fourth in RS (60) and fifth in XBH (39)...On the year he appeared in 67 games at 3B (65 GS), 25 games in RF (25GS) and 1 start at first base.

2020

Listed as Cleveland top prospect according to MLB.com and Baseball America entering the 2020 season...Spent the 2020 campaign at the Alternate Training Site in Lake County (appeared in nine games in ST as an invitee)...Split the 2019 season between Class-A Lynchburg and AA Akron, hitting a combined .272 (117-for-430) with 22 2B, 15 HR and 63 RBI in 126 games (.409/.442/.851) and was named an org. all-star by MLB.com... Led the system in on-base pct. and all of the Minors in walks (96)...Played in the Futures Game in Cleveland on July 7 and was elevated to AA Akron on July 11 for the second half... Hit .312 (101-for-324, .936 OPS) vs. RHP and .151 (16-for-106) with a .324 on-base pct. against LHP...Played in the Arizona Fall League after the season, connecting for four homers and eight RBI in 15 games...Underwent right thumb surgery in October (Dr. Thomas Graham).
