Yankees-Rays Rained Out, Doubleheader Tomorrow

PULASKI, Va - The first of three games between the Pulaski Yankees and the Princeton Rays on Tuesday night was rained out at Calfee Park and rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22. Both teams will participate in a doubleheader with the first game beginning at 6pm and gates opening at 4:30. The doubleheader will include two, seven-inning games with tickets valid for both games.

Tickets for tonight's game against Princeton can be used as a raincheck for any remaining Pulaski Yankees home game throughout the 2018 season. Tomorrow is Agriculture Night at Calfee Park sponsored by Farm Credit of the Virginias. A live cow will be raffled off in game and fans can enjoy a petting zoo on the lower concourse throughout the night. Pulaski players will be wearing specialty cow jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game. Additionally, the first 250 fans 10 and under will receive a mini plush Calf-E doll. The Pulaski Yankees are the Rookie level affiliate of the New York Yankees playing in the Appalachian League. Pulaski is celebrating its 53rd season in the Appalachian League in 2018. Calfee Park has won league championships in 1948, 1969, 1986, 1991 and 2013. Calfee Park opened in 1935 and was renovated for the team's first season as a Yankees affiliate in 2015.
