Kids Zone
JOB TITLE: KIDS ZONE EMPLOYEE
DEPARTMENT: MERCHANDISE AND KIDS ZONE
SUPERVISOR: OFF THE RACK OUTFITTERS TEAM STORE MANAGER
REPORT TIME: 1 HOUR PRIOR TO GATES OPENING
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage the inflatable kid's games and activities at all State College Spikes home games.
- Assist the supervisor in preparing the Kids Zone for the game, including, but not limited to, cleaning, set-up, and take-down of the inflatable games, take Kids Zone tickets, and monitor fans participating in the activities and games
- Must be able to handle monetary transactions and lines of people
- Have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with children, and be willing to acquire general knowledge of the State College Spikes and ballpark.
- Answer any questions that fans have or direct them to the Customer Service Center with questions you are unable to answer.
- Wait for supervisor's final instructions before being dismissed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with children in a kid-friendly environment strongly preferred. Qualifications must include: strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a public environment, availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings, dependability, and being self-motivated. ALL PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
