The State College Spikes' Host Family Program is once again accepting applications for potential host families for the 2022 season. While many host families have returned year after year, the Spikes are always looking to add to the list of families willing to open their homes to professional baseball players during the summer.

An informational session on becoming part of the Host Family Program will be held on Wednesday, February 23 via Zoom. Interested families can fill out the form available here, and will receive the link after sending the form.

The Spikes' Host Family Program helps players transition to the Happy Valley community, with many of the families and players involved keeping in touch and forging lasting relationships.

Young ballplayers from all walks of life will be coming to State College, most for the first time, and participants in the Spikes' Host Family Program can help these young men enjoy their stay in Happy Valley their summer.
