Bergman Scheduled for Season Debut at Albuquerque Friday

After a roster shakeup that resulted in the Tacoma Rainiers (6-9) adding three pitchers since Thursday's victory, right-hander and 2017-18 starting pitcher Christian Bergman (0-0) will make his season debut when the Rainiers visit the Albuquerque Isotopes (8-7) on Friday at 5:35 PM PDT.
Tacoma is celebrating its 25th season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and its 60th season in the Pacific Coast League.
Thanks to the ninth inning heroics of Eric Young, Jr.'s go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth, and Ian Miller's throw from right field that cut down the potential tying run to end the game, Tacoma claimed the series finale against El Paso on Thursday, 7-6.
