Fraley to Make Triple-A Debut for Rainiers on Friday

The Tacoma Rainiers (34-39) will try to even a five-game series in game two against the El Paso Chihuahuas (45-27) at Cheney Stadium on Friday as outfielder Jake Fraley makes his Triple-A debut with the Rainiers. First pitch is at 7:05 PM PDT as right-hander Erik Swanson (0-0, 3.75) takes the mound in Tacoma as an opener for lefty Anthony Misiewicz (2-4, 7.11)

Kristopher Negrón and Jaycob Brugman each had a multi-hit game with an RBI and Rainiers pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts, but Tacoma fell to El Paso in the five-game homestand opener on Thursday, 10-4. Right-hander Ryan Garton threw 2 2/3 innings of one-run baseball and David McKay went two shutout frames to end the contest.
