Moore on the Mound as Tacoma Plays to Even Series against Las Vegas

The Tacoma Rainiers (58-70) host the Las Vegas Aviators (77-52) on Friday as they look to even the four-game series at R House. Right-hander Andrew Moore (0-3, 8.42) will make his fourth career start against the Aviators for a 7:05 p.m. PDT start, followed by postgame Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Lexus.

It'll be Fast Track Friday, where $15 gets you a Reserved Seat Ticket in R Bar and your first cocktail free. It's also Fireworks Friday presented by Lexus, where every Friday home game the Rainiers will light up the sky with a spectacular fireworks show. Tacoma is celebrating its 25th season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and its 60th season in the Pacific Coast League.

Jaycob Brugman went 2-for-4 and launched his team leading 20th home runs, but the Rainiers fell to the Aviators on Thursday in the series opener, 8-2. Jordan Pacheco collected a two-out RBI double in the fourth, which would turn out to be the Rainiers final run of the game. Tacoma's bullpen combined for four innings of one-hit baseball that started with Major League rehabber Austin Adams. The right-hander tossed a scoreless sixth before sidewinder Aaron Northcraft spun two perfect frames, collected four strikeouts. Brian Ellington pitched a scoreless ninth with a pair of strikeouts.
