TACOMA, Wash. -- Single-game tickets for the Tacoma Rainiers Opening Night contest against the Sacramento River Cats (San Francisco) will go on sale this Wednesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. PT.
The Rainiers host the River Cats on Thursday, April 5 at Cheney Stadium to kick off the 59th consecutive season of Pacific Coast League baseball in Tacoma. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. PT.
Tickets can be purchased at the Cheney Stadium Box Office - open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - over the phone at 1-800-745-3000, or online at www.tacomarainiers.com.
Single-game tickets for the remainder of the Rainiers 2018 season will be made available for purchase at the annual Preseason Party held at Cheney Stadium on Saturday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m.
Tacoma will once again be led by fourth-year manager Pat Listach, who has steered the club to a home record of 123-92 (.572) at Cheney Stadium, the best mark in the PCL since 2015.
Cheney Stadium will also play host to 17 home matches for Sounders FC 2 from March 16 - October 10. All single-match tickets, season ticket options, group outing packages, and suite opportunities are currently available for purchase. The Sounders FC 2 roster features numerous exciting first team prospects including defenders Sam Rogers and Nick Hinds, forwards David Olsen and Shandon Hopeau, and midfielders Azriel Gonzalez and Ray Serrano. The USL side will be helmed by accomplished head coach Ezra Hendrickson.
