Top Mariners prospect Justus Sheffield (2-5, 5.74) and the Tacoma Rainiers (32-34) will visit the San Antonio Missions (40-26) on Thursday at 5:05 PM PDT. After claiming the series opener in extra innings on Wednesday, Tacoma can take the three-game series ahead of Friday's finale.

Ian Miller and Kristopher Negrón provided RBI singles in the top of the 10th inning on Wednesday night in San Antonio as the Tacoma Rainiers completed a 4-2 come-from-behind victory in the series opener against the Missions. Ryan Garton, Matt Festa and Parker Markel combined for 4 1/3 innings, allowing just one baserunner in Tacoma's second-straight win.
