Olivier Basabe once again had a standout night at the plate. He registered his second straight three-hit performance, driving in two of Tri-City's three runs. Ramon Perez earned his first win of the season for the Dust Devils. The southpaw from Cuba had eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Gabe Mosser slammed the door on the AquaSox in the top of the ninth inning to pick up the first save of his pro career.
Tri-City will send right-hander Angel Acevedo to the mound in the middle game of the three-game series on Sunday night. Everett will counter with left-hander Orlando Razo.
