A hot start faded quickly for the Tri-City Dust Devils (13-11) on Saturday night as the team lost to the Eugene Emeralds 8-4 at PK Park.
The Dust Devils jumped out to an early lead after Tre Carter drove in two runs with a single in the top of the first inning. Despite having the bases loaded with only one out after Carter's hit, Tri-City was limited to only two runs in the inning. The lead would not last for long for the Dust Devils.
