Drillers To Host Rockies Wednesday

The Tulsa Drillers will host the Colorado Rockies in an exhibition game at ONEOK Field on Wednesday, March 30. It will be the first appearance in Tulsa for the Rockies since the 2003 season when the club first became the major league affiliate for the Drillers.

Wednesday's game will mark the final exhibition game for the Rockies before they open the 2011 regular season on Friday by hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks at Denver's Coors Field.

First pitch for the exhibition game is scheduled for 6:05PM, but the gates to ONEOK Field will open at 4:00PM to allow fans the opportunity to watch the Rockies' batting practice session.

It is expected that Esmil Rogers will be the starting pitcher for Colorado in the game. Rogers, a former Drillers pitcher, has recently been named the fifth starter by Rockies manager Jim Tracy. It has yet to be determined who will start for the Drillers.
