Drillers to Help Joplin and Oklahoma Storm Victims

Silent Auction To Be Held Friday

Fans will have the chance at Friday night's game to purchase some unique Tulsa Drillers memorabilia while aslo providing help for the victims of the recent storms that struck the Joplin, Missouri and the Oklahoma City areas.

Wives and girlfriends of the Drillers players will be conducting a silent auction during the game with Midland. Fans will be able to bid at ONEOK Field on numerous autographed items from the players as well as game-used items. All proceeds from the auctions will be donated to the storm fund.

The auction will take place at tables along the first base concourse, outside Black Gold Outfitters. Cash or credit cards will be accepted for auction purchases.

Also, the Drillers players will be wearing special green jerseys during the games on Saturday with fans having the chance to win the jerseys. Special raffle tickets will be for sale at both Friday and Saturday's games for $5 each or $20 for five tickets. The winners of each of the approximately 28 jerseys will be revealed following Saturday's game.
