For the week, Villa played in four games and posted a .533 batting average with 2 HR and 6 RBI. The second-year professional out of St. Mary's College (CA) went 8-for-15 with a double and a triple. Villa scored five runs and had three walks with only one strikeout. Villa currently leads the Pioneer League in homers with 11, and is batting .324 this season with 35 RBI. He is tied for 4th in runs batted in. Villa ranks 3rd in on-base percentage at .451 and is 2nd in slugging at .655. His 22 extra-base hits this season is 2nd behind Voyagers teammate Craig Dedelow.
The 23-year-old Villa hails from Danville, CA and was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 19th round of the 2016 first-year MLB player draft.
