The Williamsport Crosscutters have released their promotional schedule for the 2024 season presented by UPMC.

The campaign opens Tuesday, June 4 when the Cutters host the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Game times remain unchanged from last season with Monday-Saturday games starting at 6:35pm. Sundays feature a 4:05pm first pitch. The Cutters will play one Sunday game at 6:35pm on August 25 and have 1:05pm games scheduled for July 4 and Labor Day, September 2. Main gates open 1 hour prior to game time.

One of the season’s most unique nights will be July 20, when the Cutters team up with Kellanova (formerly Kellogg's) for a “Salute to Pop-Tarts Night”. The night will be full of Pop-Tarts nostalgia and fun and feature a historical first with the Cutters suiting up in Pop-Tarts branded caps and jerseys. The game-worn caps and jerseys will be available to fans in an online auction with proceeds benefitting the Central PA Food Bank.

“We’ve had a great relationship with the Kellanova plant in nearby Muncy, Pa. for many years,” stated Cutters Vice President of Marketing Gabe Sinicropi. “This year, we had the bold idea to ask if we could design and wear Pop-Tarts branded Cutters uniforms, auction them to fans and have the proceeds benefit charity. They loved the idea.”

The Kellanova plant in Muncy, Pa. produces 600,000 Pop-Tarts every day. The Pop-Tarts cap and jersey designs will be unveiled in June.

• Blue & White Football Night (June 21) with Penn State ticket giveaways every inning
• Rhashan’s Half Birthday Celebration (June 28) featuring a special Rhashan theme jersey auction benefitting Lycoming County Special Olympics
• Tito Santana Bobblehead Giveaway (July 5)
• Family Movie Night (July 21) with fans invited to stick around after the Sunday afternoon game to watch “Wonka” on the stadium videoboard and have a chance at special Golden Ticket prizes
• Williamsport Bureau of Fire’s 150^th Anniversary Celebration (July 30)

Again this season, the Crosscutters will rebrand as the Potato Capers for every Friday home game. The name commemorates Dave Bresnahan who created baseball history using a potato in a trick play for the Williamsport Bills in 1987, leading to worldwide publicity that continues to this day. Kids Eat Free. Presented by Giant. The first 100 kids age 12 and under get a free hot dog meal.

Thursdays
Thirsty Thursday. $3 domestic pints and $1 off all craft beer pints until 8pm.
Thank-You Thursday. Veterans and active-duty military receive two free stadium reserved tickets when showing military ID at the box office.

Sundays
Baseball Bingo. All fans age 18 play free for a chance to win one of 10 Shop Vacs given away.
Kids Run the Bases. After the game, all kids age 12 and under can come on the field and run the bases in “Boomer’s Mad Dash”
