The Rochester Red Wings will report to the Lee County Sports Complex in Ft. Myers, Florida on Tuesday, March 4 before a 21-game spring training slate begins on Monday, March 10, the club announced on Tuesday. The team will arrive in Rochester on Monday, March 31 and open the 2014 season on the road in Buffalo on Thursday, April 3.
Full squad workouts will begin on Thursday, March 6, one day after the minor leaguers undergo their pre-season physicals. During the spring, the Wings will play three International League foes, the Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston), Norfolk Tides (Baltimore) and Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay). Rochester will also play five intra-squad contests against the New Britain Rock Cats, Minnesota's Double-A affiliate.

Rochester kicks off their 12th season as the top affiliate of the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, April 3 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo. Two days later, on Saturday, April 5, the Red Wings return to the Flower City to begin their 18th season at Frontier Field with a 2:05 p.m. matinee against the Bisons. The Frontier Field box office will open for the 2014 season on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Box office hours remain the same as last season, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
