Bisons unveil 'Jedi Robe Jerseys' for Star Wars Night Episode VIII -July 18th
A Western New York tradition that has grown with light speed in popularity, the 8th Annual Bisons Star Wars Night, presented by Alfred State College, is set for Saturday, July 18 at Coca-Cola Field against the Columbus Clippers (6:05 p.m.). Today, the Bisons unveiled the Jedi Robe Jerseys they will wearing during the game to benefit the Compass House.

The Bisons also announced that they will sell New Era Star Wars Night Logo Caps for the first time in the event's history. Bisons' Star Wars Night has drawn a sold-out crowd of 18,025 each of the past two seasons and will surpass the 100,000 fan mark with this year's event. The event includes the appearance of over 50 characters from the North Ridge and the 501st Garrison Star Wars fan clubs, the sale of commemorative laser swords (also to benefit the Compass House, a continuous storyline played out on the Bisons HD Scoreboard and a postgame on-field battle and fireworks show.
This year marks the sixth consecutive year the Bisons players will have their own Star Wars Nights Jerseys. This season's Jedi Robe Jerseys are brown and tan, resembling the classic Jedi outfit. The robe is opened slightly on the jersey to reveal the Knight's primary weapon, a holstered lightsaber. The Bisons Star Wars Night logo is featured on the jersey's left chest.
The Bisons players will wear the Jedi Robe jerseys on Star Wars Night and then autograph them as soon as the game is over. Some of the jerseys will be auctioned off in advance of Star Wars Night on Bisons.com (to be announced) while others will be part of a Star Wars Night raffle.

Individual seat tickets to Star Wars Night do not go on sale until Saturday, March 14. However, there are two great ways for fans to lock in their spot for this unforgettable event right now. The Star Wars Night 4-Pack features four tickets, four hot dog/Coca-Cola coupons and one laser sword for only $72 (additional laser swords can be purchased for $7 each).
