Blue Jays recall Hague and Delabar

Season not over for pair of veterans
September 8, 2015

The Bisons 2015 season may be in the books, but the season isn't over for a pair of members of the Herd.

Toronto recalled infielder Matt Hague and reliever Steve Delabar on the day after Buffalo's season concluded.

Hague put the wraps on his record-breaking MVP season on Monday, taking home the International League Batting Title by a 31-point margin. The veteran infielder hit .338 with a Bisons' modern era record .416 on-base pct. He also recorded 33 doubles, 11 home runs and drove in 92.

Delabar was extremely solid all season long out of the Bisons bullpen. In 24 outings, the righty was 3-1 with a 1.42 ERA and one save. He allowed just 12 hits while striking out 30 in 25.1 innings or work. Delabar allowed runs in just three of his 24 games and in none of his nine appearances since August 12.

There are now 20 former Bisons on the Blue Jays active roster.
