Yeah! Country Star Joe Nichols to Perform July 16

We promise it will be Sunny and 75 on Saturday, July 16 when country music star JOE NICHOLS takes the stage at Frontier Field following the Red Wings' 6:05 pm game against the Norfolk Tides courtesy of 92.5 WBEE, Cycle Stop, McDonald's and ADMAR Construction Equipment & Supplies. The concert is INCLUDED with the purchase of a July 16 game ticket!

Single-game ticket prices are as follows: Premium $12 ($13 day of game), Upper $10.50 ($11.50 day of game) and Reserved $8 ($9 day of game).

Other game highlights on July 16 include Military Appreciation Night presented by Basch and Nickerson LLP. The Red Wings will wear special military-themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off with proceeds to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. A post-game fireworks show courtesy of ESL Federal Credit Union will preceded the concert!

One of country music's most praised traditional country artists, Nichols has six #1 hits and eight Top 10 singles to his credit including chart-toppers like "Brokenheartsville," "Sunny and 75," "Gimmie That Girl," and "Yeah". The star has earned multiple RIAA platinum and gold certifications for his hit albums and singles.

The four-time Grammy nominee is the winner of the Horizon Award from the Country Music Association, Top New Male Vocalist from the Academy of Country Music, CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year, as well as New Artist awards from Billboard, Radio & Records and Music Row Magazine and a New York Times Best-Albums-of-the-Year nod.

Alyssa TrahanThe Alyssa Trahan Band will open the evening's entertainment, with a set at the front gates beginning at 5 p.m. Trahan, the talented country singer/songwriter from East Rochester, recently moved to Nashville and will return to Rochester for this performance. She will also sing "God Bless America" in the seventh inning.

The Red Wings 20th season at Frontier Field begins Saturday, April 9 with a 4:05 pm matinee against the Scranton/WB RailRiders. Once again, the Wings have issued a 50-degree guarantee for Opening Day. If the temperature doesn't reach 50 degrees, everyone with a ticket to Opening Day will get a FREE ticket to any remaining home game in April or May. Tickets to Opening Day can be purchased NOW online only at RedWingsBaseball.com. Single game tickets for the 2016 season will go on sale beginning Saturday, March 26.
