LATE LEAD DISAPEARS

The Lookouts take a lead through seven innings when the Generals stood at attention for the stretch and exploded for a five run barrage that wins game three 5-2. Lookouts lefty David Hurkburt doged a sixth inning and retired the side after two hits. That would not be the case in the seventh. The Generals sent ten to the plate and when the smoke cleared they had the lead for good. Tehy touched Hurlbut for ten hits and four of the five runs while the bullpen put a strangle hold on the Looks batters allowing only one hit in the last three innings.
