TEAM EFFORT WINS OVER SMOKIES

It took all team members on hand last night to win over the Smokies 1-0. More than once the defense turned the Smokies away from scoring opportunities. Starter David Hurlbut tossed eight scoreless innings with the help of that defense to work the win. While the offfense pounded out eight hits it was the last one that counted the most. Travis Harrison blasted a 2-2 pitch in the ninth inning for a home run and the win. Trevor Hildenberger closed the game for his thirteenth save of the season. It's a five o'clock game Sunday with the debut of lefty Tyler Jay for the Lookouts and Tyler Skulina for the Smokies. Hear the game on 96.1 The Legend at 4:50 EDT.
