NINTH INNING RALLY SHUT DOWN

The Lookouts would run up a three run lead in the first two inning but the Smokies answered to tie the game and hold on with a game ending double play for the 5-4 win. Lookouts bats would tie the game in the sixth inning with back to bakc doubles from Travis Harrison and Leo Reginatto. Howver at the bottom of the inning a home run off of Ryan With a Eades would change the score again. With bases loaded in the ninth a miscue throw gave the Lookouts a second chance. With a combacker to the pitcher for the second time he would make it a 1-2-3 double play and end the game. It was a no decision for the debut of Tyler Jay as he worked five innings leaving the game tied. Monday the Lookouts send Felix Jotge to the mound for his AA debut against the right hander Jen-Ho Tseng at 7:05 EDT. Follow the game on 96.1 FM at 6:50.
