Ports Announce 2017 Regular Season Schedule

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Ports are excited to reveal their 2017 season schedule, which will start on Thursday, April 6^th and end on Monday, September 4^th, both at home, as they kick off the team's 68^th season of professional baseball.

The first homestand will include a four-game series hosting the visiting Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, followed by a three-game series against the Central Valley rival Modesto Nuts. The Ports will head on the road on Thursday, April 13^th for their first road series of the season in San Jose.

In 2017 the Ports will have their annual Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 3^rd, complete with a postgame fireworks extravaganza, as they host the Visalia Rawhide.

The Ports will have 14 home games in April, 12 in May, 14 in June, 12 in July, 14 in August, and will close the season with 4 in September. In 2017, the team will have 32 weekend games and 38 weekdays games at Banner Island Ballpark.

With the departure of the High Desert Mavericks and Bakersfield Blaze from the California League, the Ports will play their league-rival San Jose Giants an additional series in 2017 for a total of fourteen games, from April 21^st-April 23^rd, May 4^th-May 7^th, August 8^th-August 10^th, and September 1^st-September 4^th, while the Nuts will play in Stockton thirteen times, from April 10^th-April 12^th, June 22^nd-June 25^th, July 20^th-July 23^rd, and August 22^nd-24^th, to close out the season.
