Games 3-5 of TLCS changed to Thursday-Saturday

Due to the threat of inclement weather in the forecast, Games 3-5 of the 2016 Texas League Championship Series at Security Bank Ballpark in Midland, will now be held Thursday, September 15 to Saturday, September 17.

The first two games of the series will still take place on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14 at Northwest Arkansas.

Here is the revised schedule of the best-of-five series with the dates that have changed in bold:

  • Tuesday, September 13: Game 1 at Northwest Arkansas - 7:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 14: Game 2 at Northwest Arkansas - 7:05 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 15: Game 3 at Midland - 7:00 p.m. - Thirsty Thursday
  • Friday, September 16: Game 4 at Midland - 7:00 p.m. - $1 Hot Dogs (IF NECESSARY)
  • Saturday, September 17: Game 5 at Midland - 7:00 p.m. (IF NECESSARY)

The promotions for the games at Security Bank Ballpark will now be Thirsty Thursday on September 15 and $1 Hot Dogs on September 16.

Fans who originally purchased tickets for the Friday game, those tickets are now good for the Thursday game. If you would like to use them for the Friday game, please come to the RockHounds ticket office to exchange them for new tickets.
