(Charleston, WV - July 14, 2017)- The West Virginia Power walked off on the Augusta GreenJackets 7-6 Friday night. The Power would grab their first walk off win on a Ryan Nagle pinch hit single in the bottom of the ninth.

The Power put up the game's first run two batters in. Adrian Valerio led off with a single and an error put him on second. Carlos Munoz promptly doubled him home. The lead was short lived however as the GreenJackets came across in the second.

Eduardo Vera allowed a solo shot to Skyler Ewing which tied the game. Michael Bernal did the same thing against Vera in the third as Augusta took a 2-1 lead. The Power responded in their half in the fourth. Albert Baur, Hunter Owen, and Clark Eagan all came across to hand the lead back to West Virginia 4-2.

Vera once again allowed the long ball to hurt him. In the fifth, Cristian Paulino smacked a two run shot to once again tie the game, this time at four.

The Power struck for what seemed to be big frame in the seventh. Baur was tripled home by Owen. Arden Pabst followed with a single to give the Power a 6-4 advantage. With West Virginia three outs from victory, Brandon Van Horn smacked a two run shot to tie the game against Ronny Augustin in the top of the ninth.

In the last of the ninth, West Virginia got things going with a one out double from Owen. After a Pabst groundout, Nagle pinch hit for the hitless Victor Fernandez. Nagle would squeeze a game-winning single down the third base line on an 0-2 pitch from Nolan Riggs to win the game. It was the Power's first walk off win in 2017. Augustin (2-0) vultures the win while Riggs (1-4) was dealt the loss.
