BIG SWINGIN EARLY: Trey Hair swung and lost his bat to the stands on a Victor Romero fastball in his first at bat of the game. Then, two pitches later he lost a ball deep into evening sky in Aberdeen for hist first home run of the season. It ended up being the difference in this one as his first inning homer was all that was needed for the Renegade's tonight.
STARTERS DEALING- Both starters in tonights matchup were dominant. The winning pitcher, Easton McGee, pitched five scorless innings of three hit baseball. Victor Romero was also dealing tonight, only giving up the one run on the Hair home run.
FAMILIAR FACES: Zach Matson, Josh Keaton and Ruben Garcia all came in relief tonight for Aberdeen tonight. All three are no strangers to the IronBird fans as they are all retuners from last season.
THE FIRST OF MANY: 2nd Round Pick in the 2015 draft, Adam Hall, collected his first hit as an IronBird. The London, Canada native laced a single up the middle in the 8th inning.
