Adam Pohl Takes Over Baysox Broadcast

BOWIE, Md - The Bowie Baysox are pleased to announce a pair of new additions to the team's front office. Adam Pohl joins the Baysox as a Corporate Sponsorships Account Manager and Radio Broadcaster while Murray Waller joins the Group Sales staff.  

Pohl replaces Ben Gordon-Goldstein as the Voice of the Baysox, broadcasting all 71 home games and select road games online on www.baysox.com. As Corporate Sponsorships Account Manager, Pohl will also sell advertising and promotions to local companies on behalf of the Baysox. He can be reached at [email protected].

The Arlington, Va., native comes to the Baysox from the Frederick Keys, where he spent the last seven years as the radio broadcaster and finished as Assistant General Manager, overseeing the marketing department. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he broadcasted professionally with the Minor League Baseball teams in Burlington (2003-04) and Salem (2005-06).

Waller joins the Baysox as a Group Events Manager after working for a Marketing company in the medical field this past year. A Towson, Md., native and Lynchburg College graduate, Waller will be in charge of corporate sales. In 2012, he interned with the Baltimore Orioles Public Relations Department.
