Baysox Home 8-22 through 8-29

The Baysox welcome the New Britain Rock Cats and Binghamton Mets to Bowie for an eight game home stand at Prince George's Stadium to finish out the regular season home schedule. The home stand features Fresh Prince of Bel Air Night and Fan Appreciation Weekend.

Thursday, Aug. 22, 7:05 p.m. - Fresh Prince of Bel Air Night with appearance by Alfonso Ribeiro aka Carlton Banks. Alfonso will sing the National Anthem and sign free autographs on the concourse during the game. RHP Daniel McCutchen is scheduled to pitch for the Baysox.

Friday, Aug. 23, 7:05 p.m. - War of 1812 Night, Fireworks - The Baysox are celebrating the War of 1812 with representatives from the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area. There will be individuals in period dress and themed in-game promotions. After the game, the Baysox light up the skies with a fireworks extravaganza. RHP Mike Wright is expected to take the mound for the Baysox.

Saturday, Aug. 24, 6:35 p.m. - Fireworks, Kids Appreciation Night with rope necklace giveaway to the first 500 kids ages 3-12. After the game, the Baysox light up the skies with a fireworks extravaganza. RHP Devin Jones is scheduled to start for the Baysox.

Sunday, Aug. 25, 2:05 p.m. -Fan Appreciation Day with Baysox Café Tumbler giveaway to the first 500 fans ages 13 and older. Meet the Team #2 - Baysox players and coaches are available to meet fans and sign autographs on the concourse level of the stadium from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Pitching Coach Blaine Beatty and that day's starting pitcher and catcher are not available for autographs. Pre-Game Catch on the Field - The outfield will be open before the start of the game for fans to bring their gloves and baseballs and play catch on the field. LHP Eduardo Rodriguez is expected to pitch for the Baysox.

Monday, Aug. 26, 7:05 p.m. - Mutt Monday - Bring your dog to the ballpark every Monday at Prince George's Stadium. RHP Tyler Wilson is scheduled to take the mound for the Baysox.

Tuesday, Aug. 27, 7:05 p.m. - Tailgate Tuesday - Fans can watch batting practice, play cornhole, enjoy live music and partake in $2 draft beer specials in the Bud Light picnic pavilion from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tightwad Tuesday - Any fan who purchases a regular price $15 box seat ticket receives two free ESSKAY hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn. LHP Jake Pettit is expected to start for the Baysox.

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 7:05 p.m. - Baysox for a Buck Night - General Admission tickets are just $1 and Box Seats are $6. Tickets must be ordered by 8/26 at www.baysox.com or fans can print a voucher at www.baysox.com that can be redeemed at the box office 8/28 only. RHP Mike Wright is scheduled to pitch for the Baysox.
