Everyone's favorite themed Beer Dinners are returning for the 2013 season. Throughout the season, the Baysox host several beer dinners, where fans can attend a two hour themed buffet that includes three hours of beer service and a ticket to the game.
Held in the Diamond View Restaurant, fans can purchase tickets to the beer dinner and game of their choice for $45, or $40 for ticket plan holders. A different themed beer dinner is held each month of the season all season long. The stadium gates open one hour before game time and the food is served beginning at 6 p.m.
"This season we have really searched for some new cuisine options from parts of the world you don't often get to experience in this area," said Baysox Director of Ticket Operations Charlene Fewer. "Whether you have never attended a beer dinner before or come every year, fans are sure to enjoy the new themed meals we have planned."
The final beer dinner of the season is Thursday, August 29 during a game against the Binghamton Mets at 7:05 p.m. The theme for the dinner is Celebrate Maryland and the stadium gates open at 6 p.m. with beer and food service beginning at that time. The beer selection includes National Bohemian on draft plus an assortment of bottled Maryland brews and offerings served in the stadium. The dinner menu includes Maryland crab soup, crab pretzels, carved pit beef station, Natty Boh brats, Maryland crab cakes, chesapeake fried chicken, Maryland grown corn on the cob, vegetable medley, pasta salad, fresh Maryland berries & biscuits, Smith Island style layer cake.
