Baseball Camp

The Chesapeake Baysox are offering three Youth Baseball Camp sessions during the summer of 2025! Each camp session will take place at Prince George’s Stadium - home of the Baysox! Camps will include instruction, drills and games and will be led by Orioles Hall of Fame Outfielder - Al Bumbry, former Baysox Outfielder Steven Bumbry, Baysox players and coaches, along with other professional and collegiate instructors!

Registration is limited in each session and each session is open to kids ages 6 - 13.

Youth Baseball Camp Session No. 1
June 24-26
With Orioles Hall of Famer Al Bumbry

Session No. 1

Youth Baseball Camp Session No. 1 is a three-day Camp that will run Tuesday, June 24 - Thursday, June 26 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball, a Baysox hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Box Seat Ticket for the Thursday, June 26 Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium where camp participants are invited to take part in a pregame parade around the warning track with Baysox mascot, Louie.

This camp session will be run by Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer, Al Bumbry and former Baysox Outfielder, Steven Bumbry alongside other former professional and collegiate baseball players who will run this camp session.

Camp Set Up

Maximum of 60 campers (Open to ages 6-13)
Two Days of on-field instruction from former professional and collegiate players
One Day of mini baseball games on the field
One (1) Baysox hat
Final day pizza party for campers!
One Box Seat Ticket for the Thursday, June 26 Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium, where camp participants are invited to take part in a pregame parade around the warning track with Baysox mascot, Louie

Camp Safety Information & Protocols

Each camper must bring their own personal water/Powerade bottle(s) marked with their name each day. No cups, or shared water jugs will be available. Baysox will provide a water bottle filling station for each day of camp.
Each camper must provide their own equipment (Bat, Glove and Batting Helmet) and equipment bag. No sharing of equipment will be permitted.
Each piece of a camper's equipment should be marked with the campers name.
Campers should wear sneakers, not cleats to each day of the camp.
Mr. Bumbry's appearance is subject to change without notice.

July 8-10

Session No. 2

Youth Baseball Camp Session No. 2 is a three-day camp that will run Tuesday, July 8 - Thursday, July 10 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball, a Baysox hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Box Seat Ticket for the Thursday, July 10 Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium, where campers will have the opportunity to take part in a pregame parade around the warning track with Baysox mascot, Louie.

Maximum of 60 campers (Open to ages 6-13)

Youth Baseball Camp Session No. 3 is a three-day camp that will run Tuesday, August 12 - Thursday, August 14 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball instruction, two game days, a Baysox Hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Box Seat Ticket to the Thursday, August 14 Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium, where campers will have the option to take part in a pregame parade around the warning track with Baysox mascot, Louie.
