Brian Shallcross first joined the Baysox in 2003. Brian leads the Baysox front office in day-to-day operation. He leads the front office staff and helps ensure the Baysox continued presence across the community and with its fans and partners. Prior to joining the Baysox, Brian enjoyed multiple experiences in the sports industry, including the University of Virginia, the Philidelphia Flyers/Sixers, and the Delmarva Shorebirds.

Fun Facts: Brian's family has hosted three Navy Midshipmen, his family proclaims him as an award-winning cook, and he is a self-proclaimed mediocre fisherman. Brian also played football in college at William & Mary.

Landon Ferrell joined the Baysox in 2015. Landon handles finances for the Baysox, in addition to two other baseball teams under the Attain Sports umbrella - the Frederick Keys and Aberdeen IronBirds.

Charlene Fewer joined the Baysox in 2003. Charlene helps oversee all box office operation, ticket operations, and merchandise design and ordering. Charlene can often be found in the box office or the Baysox team store, The Tackle Box.

Brittney Brite joined the Baysox in 2025. Brittney helps run the Baysox Box Office. She serves an integral role with ticket operations and distribution, while also serving fans at the Box Office windows and helping them with all their ticketing needs. Brittney's past stops include D.C. United and the Washington Spirit, in addition to the St. James Sports Complex.

Fun Fact: Brittney enjoys hiking, running, and going to the beach.

Jimmy Eckenrode has been with the Baysox since 2021 - starting as a gameday staff employee, before serving as an intern, and eventually joining the Baysox full-time staff in 2025. Jimmy currently helps oversee Baysox merchandise purchases and shipping, in addition to helping run the Baysox team store, The Tackle Box, both in-stadium and online. Jimmy graduated from Towson University in 2025 with a degree in Sport Management, along with minors in Business Administration and Deaf Studies.

Hometown: Crofton, MD

Fun Fact: Jimmy is bilingual in English and American Sign Language. He is also a CODA.

Vinny joined the Baysox sales staff in 2021, working his way up to his current role of "Director of Ticket Sales" in 2024. Vinny helps lead the Baysox Group Sales team. He specializes in . Prior to the Baysox, Vinny worked for the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies - Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets.

Fun Fact: Vinny is a 2016 graduate of Holy Family University

Rodney Burden, Jr. joined the Baysox prior to the start of the 2023 season. Rodney has served as an Account Executive as a part of the Group Sales team. Rodney specializes in little leagues/youth sports, government groups, military groups, consulting groups, and real estate groups. Rodney graduated from Bowie State, where he was on the club baseball team.

Fun Fact: Rodney was the captain of the Club Baseball team during his time at Bowie State

Shane Tatu joined the Baysox ahead of the 2025 season. Shane is a member of the Baysox group sales team. He's quite familiar with Birdland, working in sales for the Baltimore Orioles prior to joining the Chesapeake staff.

Aiden joined the Baysox in November of 2025 as an Account Executive on the Group Sales Team. Prior to the Baysox, Aiden worked in sales with the Baltimore Orioles. Aiden is a graduate of South Carolina.

Fun Fact: Aiden has hiked to the top of Machu Picchu in Peru

Taylor Copeland joined the Baysox in December of 2025. Taylor works on the Baysox Group Sales team. Prior to the Baysox, Taylor worked with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a Corporate Partnerships Intern. She's also worked in ticketing with West Virginia Athletics and the MLB Draft League's West Virginia Black Bears. Taylor credits watching the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park during the summer for helping her discover a love of baseball and inspiring her to peruse this career. Taylor graduated from West Virginia University in 2024.

Fun Facts: Taylor is an entrepreneur with a small business in jewelry and makeup. She also loves to travel and explore places.

Justin Kelleher joined the Baysox as Director of Partnerships just before the 2025 season. Justin helps lead the Baysox sponsorship team, including building and organizing the Baysox Partnership Guide, working with clients and businesses, and sponsorship activation. Justin brings a robust background in the sports industry for Chesapeake, with past roles working for the Tampa Bay Rays, Portland Sea Dogs, Reno Aces, and Oklahoma City Dodgers.

Fun Facts: Justin loves exploring the outdoors and always plans a few camping/hiking trips every year. State Parks and lighthouses are his go-to day trips if he can't venture too far. He also knows his team wouldn't forgive him if he didn't share that he's from Maine! ("I guess I've reminded them a few times.")

Gianni joined the Baysox in 2022, where he worked as a member of the Group Sales team for four seasons. Gianni specializes in schools and camps, and also runs our Baseball in Education/S.T.E.M Day program. In 2026, Gianni took on an enhanced role by also joining the Baysox sponsorship team. Gianni graduated Dean College, where he also played lacrosse.

Fun Fact: Gianni has a huge shoe collection of over 200 pairs and counting.

Alexis Tackney joined the Baysox in January of 2025. Alexis began with the Baysox as a member of the marketing team, before transitioning to sponsorships in 2026. Alexis graduated from Washington College in 2024, where she was a dual-sport athlete in both field hockey and lacrosse.

Fun Facts: Alexis attended the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and watched the USA field hockey and beach volleyball teams. She is also an ordained minister

Steve Bowen joined the Baysox in 2023. Steve helps oversee and spearhead the Baysox marketing team and promotional efforts. Steve builds the Baysox promotional schedule, giveaways, specialty jerseys, and in-game promotional operations. Steve joined the Baysox after spending two seasons with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League, with an extensive background in both broadcasting and promotions. Steve is a proud alumnus of Salisbury University (Go Gulls!).

Fun Fact: Steve was the President of his college acapella group and is "really good at BoxBollen." He was also a butcher for three years.

Alexis Black joined the Baysox just prior to the start of the 2025 season. Alexis helps lead all community efforts within the Baysox marketing department, including community appearances, Louie's Holiday Hope Project, and the Baysox "Read and Hit a Home Run" Reading Program. Alexis has a decorated sports background, interning with the Washington Wizards and George Washington University Athletics. She even worked her first job at Prince George's Stadium as a concessions worker during Baysox games while she was in high school. Alexis graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in 2023, before earning her Master's Degree from George Washington University in 2025.

Fun Facts: Alexis was a cheerleader for 14 years and is currently a cheerleading coach at a Prince George's county high school.

Andre joined the Baysox prior to the 2023 season and became the Broadcasting and Creative Media Manager in June of 2023. Andre is the lead play-by-play broadcaster for all Baysox games. In addition to on-air duties, Andre serves as a lead graphic designer for all baseball content on the Baysox channels, while also helping manage the Baysox website. Andre also manages all team-related public relations efforts and media inquiries. Andre graduated from Penn State University in 2022.

A member of the Prince George's Stadium press box staff since 2019, Will Beal joined the full-time front office staff prior to the 2024 season. As Video Production Coordinator, Will leads video content projects for the Baysox channels. Will also staffs the Baysox press box and ensures a smooth press box operation on game days, while running the in-stadium videoboards. Additionally, Will contributes as a graphic designer for the Baysox for both in-house and social media operations. Outside of the Baysox, Will works as a camera operator and stream producer for the Maryland Black Bears of the North American Hockey League. Will also served as a camera operator for the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians while in college. Will graduated from Butler University in 2016 with a degree in Digital Media Production.
