Fire Frogs Announce 2019 Opening Day Roster

Headlined by a new coaching staff, young crop

KISSIMMEE, FL - April 4, 2019 - The Fire Frogs 2019 Opening Day roster has been announced. The team's third season in Kissimmee will feature a new crop of talent and coaching, headlined by new skipper Barrett Kleinknecht The Fire Frogs bring in Kleinknect after a season in Danville, pairing him with Pitching Coach Dan Meyer, a six-year MLB Veteran who coached last year with Rome, and Hitting Coach Doug DeVore, who is making his professional debut as a coach in the Organization. Coach Porky Lopez will be back for his second consecutive season with the team in Kissimmee.

The Fire Frogs return several players from last year, including catcher William Contreras , infielder Riley Delgado , outfielders Izzy Wilson and Greyson Jenista . The pitching staff brings back starter Huascar Ynoa , relievers Sean McClaughlin and Jon Kennedy , among others.
A new wave of faces will debut in Kissimmee in 2019, especially on the defensive side as the team welcomes infielders Lugbauer, Langhorne, Unroe and Graffanino. Outfielder Jefrey Ramos will be the lone outfielder to make his debut with the Fire Frogs in Kissimmee this season. The pitching staff continued it's trend of success and brings newcomers Beck, Tarnok, and Weisenberg to help lead the staff in 2019 after seeing the majority of starters make advances since last season.
