TinCaps Season Openings: Part-Time, Seasonal
We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and service-minded Seasonal Special Event Servers to join our team during our busy special event season. This position is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests at weddings, corporate functions, holiday celebrations, private parties, and other special events.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in creating a memorable guest experience.
Essential Responsibilities
· Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests throughout each event.
· Set up and prepare event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service areas.
· Greet guests and assist with seating, menu questions, and general event needs.
· Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service areas throughout the event.
· Clear and reset tables as needed while minimizing disruption to guests.
· Assist with buffet, plated, cocktail, and other styles of event service.
· Communicate guest requests, special needs, and concerns promptly to the event manager.
· Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety guidelines.
· Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and storage at the conclusion of each event.
· Work cooperatively with servers, bartenders, culinary staff, event managers, and other team members.
· Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
· Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the event.
Qualifications
· Previous serving, catering, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a busy environment.
· Strong teamwork and ability to take direction.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Ability to lift, carry, and transport food, beverage, tables, chairs, and other event equipment as needed.
· Must be available to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended shifts.

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying. Employees may be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, depending on event needs.
Schedule & Seasonal Commitment
Schedules will vary based on the event calendar. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and availability during peak event periods are highly valued.
