Parkview Field Named Most Kid-Friendly Stadium in Indiana

Trekaroo Ranks TinCaps' Home Best in State
April 4, 2013

Fort Wayne, IN - Parkview Field, the home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, has been named  the most kid-friendly baseball stadium in Indiana by Trekaroo, a website that offers reviews of kid-friendly hotels, activities, and travel tips for family fun.

"With tickets on the lawn starting at just $5, it makes for an affordable day out with the family," Trekaroo said.

The TinCaps' most recent accolade comes after Stadium Journey magazine dubbed Parkview Field the top experience in all of Minor League Baseball for the second straight season back in January.

In Trekaroo's rankings, the Indianapolis Indians' Victory Field and the South Bend Silver Hawks' Coveleski Stadium were ranked second and third, respectively, behind Parkview Field.

The TinCaps open their fifth season of Midwest League baseball at Parkview Field on April 11, 2013, against the Lake County Captains. First pitch is set for 7:05 PM, with fireworks to follow the game. Tickets are available by calling 260-482-6400, visiting the Parkview Field ticket office, or online at TinCaps.com.
