May 4, 2016

HARRISBURG, PA- Chris Bostick's two-out home run to left field, over the outstretched glove of Raimel Tapia in the last of the 11th inning, gave the Harrisburg Senators a 3-2 victory over the Hartford Yard Goats Tuesday night, before an announced crowd of 1,749 at FNB Field. Yard Goats manager Darin Everson disputed the home run call but to no avail. It is the first time this season Hartford (18-6) has lost consecutive games.

Held to one hit in the first six innings, the Yard Goats tied the game in the seventh. David Dahl extended his hitting streak to eight games with a lead-off double. Hartford then drew even on infield hits by Jackson Williams and pinch hitter Dillon Thomas.

Harrisburg took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a sacrifice fly and throwing error by starting pitcher German Marquez.

Hartford plays a 10:30 A.M. game Wednesday at Harrisburg. Harrison Musgrave (LHP) will pitch for the Yard Goats, against (RHP) Lucas Giolito , the number one ranked prospect in the Washington Nationals organization. The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1410, WPOP.
