Captains to Host Continental Cup International U13 Division Baseball Championship on July 7

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, are proud to partner with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission to host the Cleveland Indians Charities Continental Cup International Youth Baseball Tournament U13 age division Championship on Sunday, July 7 at Classic Park in Eastlake following the Captains game versus West Michigan. There will be one admission for both games.

The Continental Cup International Youth Sports Festival sponsored by Cleveland Clinic Sports Health is in its eighth year in 2013 and features over 3,000 athletes from around the world competing in one of four sports - baseball, soccer, basketball and volleyball. 

The Continental Cup Opening Ceremony and Cultural Festival , featuring live music, interactive activities and the parade of athletes, will rock Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland on July 4 from 7 PM to 9 PM.

The Continental Cup Baseball Tournament will run from July 4 - 7 and includes more than 40 teams in three age divisions. Teams from India, Pakistan, Canada and the United States will compete in this year's tournament. 

The majority of baseball games will be played at Victory Park in North Olmsted. Details on participating teams and game schedules are available at www.continental-cup.com
