The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp bats caught fire early in Friday night's game as they plated five runs in the top of the second inning.
Lien got the M-Braves on the board in the bottom of the second inning when he launched a line drive home run deep over the left field wall, his fourth of the 2018 season. The M-Braves collected two more runs in the bottom of the third inning via the long ball after Lago and Marlette each homered, making the score 5-3.
Jacksonville picked up three insurance runs in the top of the fifth inning on RBI singles from Schales,

The M-Braves and the Jumbo Shrimp will face each other for the third consecutive night when the two teams meet at Trustmark Park on Saturday night for game three of the six-game series. Saturday night's first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (CST.) LHP
