BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers (41-28) won in walk-off fashion against the Mississippi Braves for the second time in four games on Saturday at MGM Park, 2-1. Troy Stokes drew a bases-loaded walk from M-Braves reliever Chad Sobotka  (L, 1-2) to force home the game-winner in the bottom of the 10th inning.

The loss spoiled the fourth straight quality start from an M-Braves (28-41) pitcher. Enderson Franco turned in his best performance of the year with seven shutout innings on just two hits. The 25-year-old didn't walk a batter and struck out six.
Neither club pushed across a run in regulation and for the second time in three games, we saw extra-innings at MGM Park. The M-Braves put a runner on base in eight of nine innings in regulation but stranded 14 of them on base in the game.
Alex Jackson put the M-Braves on the board first with a bases-loaded single in the top of the 10th inning. The bonus runner to begin the 10th inning at second base was Tyler Neslony. He moved to third on a single by Travis Demeritte after Tyler Marlette drew an intentional walk from Biloxi reliever Danny Reynolds (W, 1-0). The former M-Brave, Reynolds got out of the bases loaded, no out jam by inducing a flyout from Daniel Lockhart and outfield assist from his centerfielder Trent Grisham following a fly out off the bat of Luis Marté. The double play ended the top of the 10th with the M-Braves up 1-0.
Sobotka took over for the Braves in the bottom of the 10th. Biloxi bonus runner Darren Seferina swiped third base and then scored on the third single of the game by Tyler Heineman. Sobotka retired pinch-hitter Keston Hiura on a fly out to left for the first out. He then walked the next three Shuckers to force home Heineman and give Biloxi the 2-1 win.
Alay Lago (2-for-5), Marlette (2-for-3), Jackson (2-for-3) and Marte (2-for-4) collected two-hit games on Saturday night. Adam McCreery added two scoreless innings of relief behind Franco with four strikeouts.
The M-Braves and Shuckers will wrap up the final series of the first half on Sunday with game five. First pitch is at 4:05 pm with RHP Andres Santiago (3-2, 4.03) starting for the M-Braves against Biloxi RHP Trey Supak (0-3, 6.30).
The M-Braves return to Trustmark Park, June 21-26, for a six-game series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp to open the second-half of the 2018 season. For tickets or more information fans can visit mississippibraves.com or call 888-BRAVES4.
