The Missoula Osprey have announced the hiring of Shelby Fowler to become the franchise's first year around Director of Food and Beverage. Fowler will oversee the Missoula Osprey's complete Food and Beverage operation for all events held at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Fowler, a Montana Native and Missoulian, comes to the Osprey with over a decade of food and beverage management experience, including most recently, with the City of Missoula Parks and Recreation facilities.
"Shelby Fowler is a key addition to our team as we work hard to elevate our food and beverage experience at the stadium," explained Osprey Vice President Matt Ellis. "Shelby's food and beverage knowledge, attention to detail, talent for food preparation, and high quality customer service expectations make her the perfect hire for our team. Fans are going to be very pleased with how she is going to lead our food and beverage operation to another level. We want Ogren Park Allegiance Field to be known as not only a place for great events, but for exceptional and fun food and drink offerings."

Fowler grew up in Eureka, MT graduating from Lincoln County High School in 2003. Fowler went on to attend Jamestown College in North Dakota on a softball scholarship. In 2007 Fowler moved to Missoula and added over a decade of food and beverage program experience under her belt. She has worked as the dietary manager for the Hillside Health Care Center, as Kitchen Manager for the Poverello Center, and most recently, Food and Beverage Coordinator for City of Missoula Parks and Recreation. With the City, Shelby oversaw all Food and Beverage operations associated with aquatics and parks.
"I am very excited to share my love of food, sports, and music with such a talented team of executives," explained Fowler. "I am very honored to be a part of the development of this amazing organization."
In her free time, Fowler plays softball, travels, listens to live music, and spends time with her family. Her passions include being outdoors adventuring and creating and eating amazing fun foods. The later passion is one the Osprey look forward to.
