Summary
Somerset scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning on a home run by Tyler Hardman to break a 4-4 tie and give Somerset a 6-4 lead. Earlier the Senators had taken a 4-1 lead with three runs in the fifth inning.
Turning Point
In the bottom of the fifth, the Senators were leading 4-1 with two outs and no one on base when Trey Sweeney hit a pop up into shallow left field just out of the reach of Leonel Valera and in front of Yasel Antuna. Following that was a walk, then a two-run double, trimming the Sens lead to 4-3.
On Capitol Hill
Jackson Rutledge went 4.2 innings and allowed two earned runs. He struck out seven and pitched out of a no-out runner on third situation in the first inning. Reid Schaller followed and tossed 1.1 innings and allowed two hits and allowed two inherited runners to score. Carlos Romero tossed the final two frames and allowed three runs on two home runs.
With the Gavel
Drew Millas had a four-hit game including a home run in the third inning. Yasel Antuna homed in the ninth. Harrisburg had nine hits in the game.
