Summary

On Friday night at First Energy Stadium in Reading the Senators couldn’t hold two large leads and fell to the Fightin Phils 10-9 in a walk off loss. Harrisburg led 6-0 into the sixth inning, 9-4 into the bottom of the eighth and 9-7 into the last of the night before losing on a three-run home run. The loss snapped the Sens five game winning streak.

The Big Play

Leading 9-7 into the bottom of the ninth inning, Reading had two on and two outs when Max McDowell came to the plate. He moved ahead of the count 1-0 and hit the next pitch on a line just over the wall in left field for the game winning three-run home run.
