COLUMBUS, GA (August 18, 2026) – The Montgomery Biscuits scored nine runs over the final three innings to rally past the Columbus Clingstones, 10-4, on Tuesday night at Synovus Park.

Montgomery took an early 1-0 lead in the second when J.T. Arruda lifted a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring Theo Gillen.

Columbus answered with two runs in the sixth, taking a 2-1 lead on an RBI single by Owen Carey and a bases-loaded walk to Carson Taylor.

The Biscuits immediately reclaimed the lead in the seventh. Caden Bodine launched a grand slam to right field, scoring Cooper Kinney, Arruda and Mac Horvath. The homer was Bodine's fourth of the season and gave Montgomery a 5-2 advantage.

Montgomery broke the game open in the ninth with five more runs. Horvath's two-run single scored Tatem Levins and Arruda, and Will Simpson drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home Bodine. Kinney then delivered a two-run single, scoring Xavier Isaac and Gillen to push the lead to 10-2.

Columbus added two runs in the bottom of the ninth on Adam Zebrowski's two-run homer, but it was not enough.

Marcus Johnson opened the game with 3.0 scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out four. K.C. Hunt allowed two runs over 2.2 innings, while Andrew Lindsey earned the win after working 2.1 innings and allowing one run. Justin Yeager surrendered two runs in the ninth but finished the game.

Cam Caminiti held Montgomery to one run over 6.0 innings before the Biscuits broke through against the Columbus bullpen.

Bodine led Montgomery offensively, going 1-for-4 with a grand slam, two runs and four RBI. Kinney went 3-for-5 with two RBI, while Horvath drove in two and scored once. Gillen reached base three times, going 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored.
