Summary
The Harrisburg Senators snapped their scoreless inning streak, but it wasn’t enough as they lost at Binghamton 4-2. The Rumble Ponies scored two runs in the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie. The Senators scored first on a double by Robert Hassell III that scored JT Arruda from first base giving Harrisburg a 1-0 lead. Binghamton took a 2-1 lead on a two-run single in the fifth before the Sens tied the game in the sixth on a two-out RBI single off the bat of Frankie Tostado.
The Big Play
With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fifth, Binghamton’s JT Schwartz dumped a single into shallow center field that scored two runs giving Binghamton a 2-1 lead.
