2018 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE RELEASED

JOHNSON CITY- Bobbleheads, theme nights, jerseys, fireworks and unique weekly promotions highlight the Johnson City Cardinals 2018 promotional schedule.
With the season just a little more than a month away, the Johnson City Cardinals are excited to announce their official Promotional Schedule, highlighted by events such as Taco Tuesdays, All You Can Eat Wednesdays, bobblehead giveaways, and specialty theme nights.
"2017 was a banner year for our organization and we are excited about continuing to build on that momentum," added Johnson City Cardinals General Manager Zac Clark. "Along with some major enhancements to TVA Credit Union Ballpark we feel this promotional calendar will make us the premier destination for entertainment in the Tri-Cities this summer!"
A Johnson City Cardinals magnet schedule giveaway presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union will kick off the season on Friday, June 22^nd. Returning to the calendar in 2018 are Dollar Mondays, Coors Light Thirsty Thursdays, and Sound Off Saturdays presented by Campbell's Morrell Music. New to the weekly promotions for the upcoming season will be Taco Tuesdays where fans can enjoy $2 tacos all night long. All You Can Eat Wednesdays will also be featured as a new weekly promotion where fans will be able to enjoy all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos with cheese, chips, soda, and their ticket to the game for one low price!
Following Opening Day, the Cardinals will have a bobblehead giveaway on Saturday June 23^rd, where first 1,000 fans will receive a Paul DeJong Bobblehead presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union and Senior Benefit Inc. Tuesday, July 3^rd will be an Independence Day Celebration featuring a huge fireworks extravaganza. Saturday, July 7^th will feature We Back Pat Night with a specialty jersey auction benefiting the Pat Summitt Foundation. On Friday, July 13^th the Cardinals will be giving away a Jordan Hicks jersey shirt to the first 1,000 fans.
TVA Credit Union Ballpark will host post-game fireworks shows on July 3^rd, July 13^th, July 27^th, August 10^th, and August 25^th.
The Johnson City Cardinals will be hosting a Lee Landers Bobblehead Giveaway to the first 500 fans presented by Sleep Zone on Friday, July 20^th. Friday, July 27^th will be Margaritaville Beach Bash Night presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union. The team will wear specialty Margaritaville jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit the Niswonger Foundation. The Cardinals will feature a Daniel Norris bobblehead as one of the giveaways for the 2018 season, as the first 1,000 fans through the gates on Saturday, July 28^th will receive a free Daniel Norris bobblehead presented by Marsh Blood Center, and Katz America.
Fans wanting to score a free t-shirt will want to be in attendance on Saturday, August 11^th as the first 1,000 fans will receive a jersey shirt of former Johnson City Cardinal Yadier Molina presented by Sleep Zone.
Fans will be able to enjoy a Star Wars Night during the 2018 season on Saturday, August 25^th as the first 1,000 fans will be able to receive a free lightsaber. The Cardinals will also sport Star Wars themed jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit United Way.
