Suns Sets on 2020 Season Hopes

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 30, 2020) – MLB has elected not to send players to its affiliated minor-league teams. As such, there will be no professional affiliated Minor League Baseball in the calendar year 2020. Therefore, the Hagerstown Suns, like all other Minor League Baseball affiliates, are officially on hiatus.

The Suns remain committed to continuing to work with the City of Hagerstown, Washington County, and State of Maryland authorities to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all citizens during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

With regard to 2020 purchases, please note the following:

1. All single game tickets purchased for the 2020 season will be given a voucher good for any game during the 2021 season (based on availability). The Suns will give each purchaser a seat upgrade. For example, if you purchased a general admission single game ticket, you will be given a grandstand single game voucher.

2. All season ticket and 10-game pack purchases for the 2020 season will be credited towards the 2021 season. The Suns will give each purchaser an additional $25 on their VIP cards for the 2021 season. All season and 10-game pack holders will also receive the Stephen Strasburg World Series MVP bobblehead that was scheduled to be given out during the 2020 season.

3. All 2020 season sponsorships will be transferred to the 2021 season. The Suns will give each paid sponsor purchaser an additional 10% in sponsorship inventory in 2021. Any season sponsorship who pays in full by September 30, 2020 will also receive the 10% value credit for 2021.
