SeaWolves Announce 2026 Promotions

(Erie, PA) – The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, have released the team’s 2026 promotional calendar. 2026 Opening Night is Friday, April 3 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) at 6:05 p.m. On Opening Night, the SeaWolves will raise their 2025 Southwest Division Championship banner.

(Erie, PA) The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, have released the team’s 2026 promotional calendar. 2026 Opening Night is Friday, April 3 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) at 6:05 p.m. On Opening Night, the SeaWolves will raise their 2025 Southwest Division Championship banner. Fans can also enjoy a delicious Good Friday Fish Fry in The Club by Synchrony.

FLAGSHIP CITY KITTIES

The SeaWolves will celebrate 25 seasons as a proud Detroit Tiger affiliate with two special weekends, June 12-13 and August 7-8. Fans will be treated to themed postgame fireworks on Friday, June 12 and August 7. The first 1,000 fans on Saturday, June 13 will get a Flagship City Kitties Trucker Cap presented by Wm. T. Spaeder. The first 1,000 fans on Saturday, August 8 will receive a Flagship City Kitties replica jersey presented by Erie County Community College. On both weekends, the SeaWolves will don special uniforms featuring the team’s new alternate identity.

MOON MAMMOTHS

The SeaWolves are excited to announce the Moon Mammoths will be back for the 2026 season! Fans can attend three Moon Mammoths Weekends, taking place May 29-31, July 10-12 and September 4-5. Fans can enjoy postgame fireworks on Friday, May 29, July 10, and September 4. The first 1,500 fans on Saturday, May 30 will receive a Fuzz E. Mammoth bobble-trunk. The first 1,500 fans on Saturday, July 11 will receive a John Oliver bobblehead. The first 500 kids (12 years old & younger) on Sunday, July 12 will receive a Fuzz E. Mammoth building blocks set, presented by NAMI of Erie County. Finally, the first 1,500 fans on Saturday, September 5 will receive a Kevin McGonigle bobblehead, presented by UPMC Health Plan.

FIREWORKS

The 2026 schedule will feature 10 fireworks nights starting on Friday, May 15. The team will celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday early on June 28th with a MEGA BLAST Fireworks Spectacular presented by the Pennsylvania Lottery. Other fireworks dates include Friday, May 29 (6:05 p.m.), Friday, June 12 (6:35 p.m.), Friday, June 26 (6:35 p.m.), Friday, July 10 (6:35 p.m.), Friday, July 31 (6:35 p.m.), Friday, August 7 (6:05 p.m.), Friday, August 21 (6:05 p.m.), and Friday, September 4 (6:05 p.m.).

Additionally, fans can participate in the SeaWolves All-American BBQ Picnic on Sunday, June 28 including all-you-can-eat BBQ chicken breast, BBQ pulled pork, cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, cupcakes, and Pepsi fountain drinks. GIVEAWAYS

In addition to the team’s Moon Mammoths and Flagship City Kitties promotions, the 2026 schedule will feature four Saturday giveaways for the first 1,000 fans including Ice Cream Bucket Hats (May 2), Military Appreciation Day Logo Baseballs (May 16), Patriotic Button-Up Shirts (June 27), and SeaWolves Football Jerseys (August 22). Additionally, the first 500 kids (12 years old & younger) can receive a C. Wolf building block set, presented by NAMI of Erie County, on Sunday, August 23.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

The SeaWolves continue to partner with area businesses to support community initiatives. Local school students will enjoy learning through baseball on Education Days presented by UPMC Health Plan. These special 11:05 a.m. games are set for May 13 and May 27. The SeaWolves are now accepting school group bookings for Education Days. Visit SeaWolves.com for more information.

The SeaWolves and UPMC Health Plan will team up to host ‘Strike Out Cancer Weekend’ September 4 -5. Players will wear special Moon Mammoths cancer awareness jerseys that will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the Hamot Health Foundation’s Cancer Fund.

New for 2026, the SeaWolves will host Hometown Tuesdays. During each Tuesday home game, the SeaWolves and Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory will celebrate the Erie community and hometown heroes for their service, dedication, and impact.

On Sunday, May 31, the SeaWolves will team with the Autism Society of Northwestern PA to host a Sensory-Friendly Day at UPMC Park with reduced audio levels.

OTHER NOTABLE NIGHTS AND THEMES

The SeaWolves will wear specialty jerseys for multiple games to support local charities.

Howl-o-Ween returns on Saturday, August 1, with the team wearing special EERIE uniforms to support NAMI of Erie County.

SeaWolves fans are headed to Bikini Bottom on August 21 with SpongeBob SquarePants Night! The team will wear and auction off special SpongeBob jerseys to benefit Chosen, Inc.

Unicorn Night returns to UPMC Park on July 31. This magical evening, presented by Finish Thompson, features themed entertainment, a unicorn headband giveaway to the first 500 kids (ages 12 & younger), and enchanting in-game moments that bring a little extra fantasy to UPMC Park.

Dog owners can bring their leashed pets to three Wednesday night home games. This season, Bark at the Park nights, presented by Synchrony and CareCredit, will be held on June 24, July 29, and September 2. Wednesday night games are also Winning Wednesdays, with a surprise presented to one or more fans during every inning.

On select Sunday home games, the SeaWolves will throw it back to the era of day games and stickball, taking the field in uniforms inspired by vintage baseball and classic animation. Each Retro Sunday at UPMC Park will feature vintage music choices and entertainment.

The SeaWolves will once again participate in Minor League Baseball’s Copa de la Diversión heritage series, playing three Tuesday night games as the Erie Piñatas on June 23, July 28, and September 1. Each Piñatas game day will include music and announcements in Spanish and themed food and drink offerings.

The team will host two weekday matinee games at 12:35 p.m. on July 8 and August 5. The SeaWolves are now accepting group bookings for summer camp and senior groups for the weekday matinee games. For group opportunities or to book a hospitality space on one of these dates, email [email protected].

The SeaWolves will host two Military Appreciation Days on Saturday, May 16 and Thursday, September 3 with complimentary tickets for members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. The SeaWolves will similarly recognize local nonprofit volunteers on Sunday, June 14 and local first responders on Sunday, September 6.
