The Shorebirds return home to celebrate Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4th. The team will be wearing specialty patriotic jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game on the second level concourse. Proceeds from the patriotic jerseys benefit the Department of Maryland VFW Military Assistance Programs. Make sure to stick around after the game for the biggest Q105 fireworks show on Delmarva after the game! Gates open at 4:30 PM with first pitch against the Hagerstown Suns scheduled for 6:05 PM.
The patriotic gear doesn't end on July 4th, as the first 500 fans through the gates will receive a red, white, and blue bucket hat on Thursday, July 5th, presented by Spicer Bros. Construction, Inc. It's also a KISS 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village at Salisbury. Enjoy 16 oz. cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light; as well as, Pepsi fountain drinks for $2 each. The Shorebirds will be wearing their Maryland Pride jerseys, so show your support by sporting your Maryland Pride gear, as well. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Hagerstown Suns scheduled for 7:05 PM.
On Friday, July 6th, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Trey Mancini Bobblehead, presented by Perdue Foods. It's also Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. Fans over the age of 21 can enjoy 32 oz. drafts of Miller Lite and Coors Light for $6 each. Make sure to wear your orange gear for Orange Friday, just like the team. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Hagerstown Suns scheduled for 7:05 PM.
The Hickory Crawdads come into town for a three game series starting on Saturday, July 7th. Gates open at 4:00 PM for fans to watch Shorebirds and Crawdads batting practice on Saturday, July 7th. Along with the opportunity to watch batting practice, happy hour discounts on beverages and snack items will be available at the Pizza Stand located on the first level concourse behind home plate. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, fans can purchase slices of pizza and small popcorn for $1 each. Draft beers can be purchased by fans age 21 or older for $5 each. Inflatable games will be free of charge from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, as well. Also, two Shorebirds players will be available to sign autographs in the Flock Shop before each Saturday home game from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. First pitch against the Hickory Crawdads is scheduled for 7:05 PM. Stick around after the game for a fantastic Q105 fireworks show, presented by Wor-Wic Community College.
The first 1,000 fans through the gates on Sunday, July 8th will receive a 2018 All Stars Poster, presented by Delmarva Printing. The poster includes Shorebirds players and South Atlantic League All-Stars
The homestand ends on Monday, July 9th with 47 ABC 2 Buck Monday, presented by Wicomico Heating & Air Conditioning. Fans can enjoy upper reserved tickets, hotdogs, and fountain Pepsi products for $2 each. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch scheduled against the Hickory Crawdads scheduled for 7:05 PM.
