On Saturday, we honor the rich history of Black baseball in Greenville and beyond with a special tribute night: Black Spinners Night. Named in honor of the local Black baseball team that played during the segregation era, this evening will pay homage to the players, leaders, and fans who paved the way and shaped the culture of the game. Through stories, ceremonies, and recognition throughout the evening, we’ll celebrate the deep roots of baseball in the Black community and the contributions that continue to inspire new generations.
